Our Mission

We help communities reduce problems caused
by mismanaged liquor-licensed businesses

We carry out our mission by training planners, law enforcement, and bars in research-supported "best and smart practices." Planners learn how to devise and write conditions of approval for new bars. Law enforcement officers learn how to better influence, partner with, and intervene with bars. And bar owners and managers learn how to apply safe and legal alcohol business practices.
